New Technology: Robotic tele present sounds like a concept of the future, but the ability to be present in two or more places at the same time, called telepresence, has existed since the first broadcast of live TV in 1929 . We wanted that it was not longer than 1.5 meters and had a base small in order to move easily in the office between a chair and a table and between people. the only way to achieve this was to produce a balanced robot ".
An iPad tablet installed on the robot called "Double 2" serves as his brain, helping it to maintain balance while away from the user controls his movements through a computer.
The robot costs about three thousand dollars without the iPad and so far, more than 5 thousand robots of this type are shipped worldwide, corporations, hospitals and private clients. Employees can easily distract rush from one meeting to another and socialize with their peers, while sick students can attend classes from the bed and talk with their friends.
